A comprehensive and understandable beginner's guide to using loser.gg and creating a link that suits your needs.
Registration
Your first course of action will be to register for an account on loser.gg at loser.gg/register and head over to loser.gg/dashboard to begin your journey on our site. We offer a variety of integrations to login via other websites and/or services, Google is our most popular.
Link Creation
After heading to the dashboard, press "Create Link" and select Biolink. You can select the other options such as Link Shorteners but if you're a new user you'll be most likely seeking a Biolink page firstly.
Upon creating your link you'll be redirected to the editor and given a premade template to help you get an idea of how our Blocks system works for page designing! Don't get overwhelmed or feel locked into the design the template gives you. You're free to add, delete, and edit all of your page's contents to your heart's content at anytime and anywhere.
Link Customization
The most prominent aspect of your page is the Blocks tab which houses every component you can add to your site.
Ranging from avatars, specific platform integrations, slideshows, and audio files there is plenty to choose from and feel free to take time exploring the options before building a page!
Under the Settings tab of your link editor you'll find an assortment of categories to begin editing with, I'll give some more insights into which is which below.
Preset Themes -> Our collection of basic gradients, backgrounds, link styles, and fonts designed by our team to help you get some inspiration or an easy solution to designing yourself.
Customization -> As the name suggests this is the one-stop-shop for a majority of your link's content. It's where you'll edit your background type, favicons, entry screen, font, sizing of objects, and animations for content on your page. It may seem like a lot but editing every option individually is not a requirement to make a stunning page on our service.
Verified Badge -> You're unlikely to be interacting with this as a new user but it's for verified/partnered users to enable and configure their badge.
Branding -> Edit or disable the loser.gg branded footer if you own a Premium/Socialite plan.
Protection -> Enable password protection or age restriction warnings on your page prior to visitors entering.
SEO -> Configure how your page will be shown on search engines and on other platforms such as configuring the appearance of the Discord embed when you send it on their platform.
Advanced -> A few settings here are minor such as toggling extra buttons on your page for scrolling, directory displaying, and sharing. If you're a Socialite or above plan holder though this is a key category for editing Custom CSS & JS on your page.
